“En printemps 2008 nous avons visité le Corse pour un mois. Nous sommes arrivés à Calvi et nous y avons séjourné la première semaine. Pendant cette semaine nous avions commes résidence la très belle maison de Nicky et Paul Taylor, en pleine centre de Calvi. Nous avons été très heureux d'avoir loué cette maison: luxueuse, pratique et tranquille. L'endoit est parfait pour faire des excursions dans les belles environs de Calvi. Je mentionne La Balagna et ses pittoresques villages, les Calanches rouges, la côte (la Revellata), le cirque de Bonifatu, Calenzana avec sa première étape de GR20 (à recommender!) et à pas oublier Calvi la ville, avec son superbe citadel et la Cathédrale du 13me siècle. On a aussi fait la plongée: il y a un ancien avion de la 2me guerre de la monde au cap de la Revellata! La maison nous a plaît beaucoup. Assez d'espace pour notre groupe de six personnes, une cuisine équipée très bien, un petit mais jolie jardin où l'on peut faire une barbeque et se reposer après une journée pleine d'activités. La salle de séjour est grande et l'aménagement est plein de goût. On peut se baigner dans deux salles de bains. Il y a toutes commerces, deux supermarchés et beaucoup de restaurants et de terrasses. En un mot: choisir pour Calvi et la maison des Taylors, c'est un début des vacances en Corse excellent.”  Theo & Lucie Hoenderkamp, Voorburg, Pays-Bas, mai 2008

"Nach längerer Zeit haben wir mit der Familie wieder Korsika besucht. Wir hatten das Casa Paradis  ausgewählt und waren damit sehr zufrieden. Das Haus im Zentrum von Calvi, abseits der Hauptverkehrsstraßen,  war sehr zweckmäßig und ansprechend eingerichtet. Dies gilt sowohl für die Zimmer, die Küche, das Wohnzimmer und die zwei Bäder. Besonders schön fanden wir den kleinen abgeschlossenen Garten, der eine grüne Oase zum Entspannen und auch zum Grillen darstellt. Nach wie vor ist die Bucht von Calvi wunderschön zum Baden und auch der im Laufe der Jahre zugenommene Tourismus hat viele Verbesserungen  der Infrastruktur z.B. für Straßen, Supermärkte und Geschäfte gebracht. “In de lente van 2008 hebben wij onze vakantie in Corsica doorgebracht. De eerste week hebben we gelogeerd in Calvi, een perfect begin om het schitterende eiland te verkennen. Die week hadden wij het vakantiehuis van de familie Nicky en Paul Taylor gehuurd. Dat bleek een voltreffer: een luxe huis met alles er op en er aan, een zeer goed ingerichte keuken, en een kleine, maar bijzonder prettige tuin. Zeer geschikt om een barbeque te houden of zomaar de avond door te brengen. Er is genoeg ruimte voor 6 personen. Er zijn twee badkamers en de ruime huiskamer is bijzonder smaakvol ingericht. Het huis ligt midden in het oude centrum van Calvi. De oude stad, de beroemde citadel met zijn kathedraal uit de 13e eeuw zijn prima te belopen. Alle winkels (lekkere bakker!) zijn evenzeer op loopafstand. Verder is de omgeving overweldigend: de kust, de Callanges (per boot), het binnenland van de Balagna met prachtige bergdorpjes. Natuur volop, zoals de cirque de Bonifatu en de start van de GR20 in Calenzala. Na later de rest van Corsica te hebben verkend, kunnen we gerust zeggen dat het begin in Calvi, in het mooie huis, de beste keus is geweest.”     Theo & Lucie Hoenderkamp, Voorburg, Paus-Bas, mai 2008

“Vi hadde et utmerket opphold i Casa Paradis i Calvi. Et flott hus med meget bra beliggenhet - men enda viktigere: vi (en familie på fire) opplevde at alt vi kunne se og lese på Internet er nøyaktig hva vi fikk! Det var ingen overdrivelser, bildene viste virkeligheten, og all kommunikasjon med Nicky og Paul før vi kom viste seg å være ærlig og nøyaktig. “Wir moechten Ihnen hiermit sagen, wie ausserordentlich gut uns der Aufenthalt in der Casa Paradise waehrend des Sommers 2008 gefallen hat.  Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen fuer den Aufenthalt in Calvi weit uebertroffen.  Es ist geraeumig, sauber und sehr komfortabel ausgestattet, besonders was die Kueche angeht.  Auch die Lage des Hauses haette nicht besser sein koennen. Die schattige Veranda draussen machte unseren Aufenthalt ebenfalls sehr angenehm.  Wir haben es besonders genossen, bei einem Glas guten korsischen Weines auf der schattigen Veranda den Abend zu verbringen. Das Weber Grillgeraet machte den gelegentlichen Abend zu Haus zu einem besonderen Essvergnuegen. “We stayed at Casa Paradis for the month of October, the weather was warm, sunny and settled. We are only sorry that we could not stay longer. The island of Corsica exceeded our expectations as did the accommodation. We had everything we needed at the house and some. Without exception, you will find at Casa Paradis everything that is promised on the website - the accommodation is first class, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and outdoor space, it really is a home from home.

During our stay we did quite a lot of walking as there are numerous coastal paths and hiking trails literally on the doorstep. The local beach, which is superb, is minutes from the house. The central location of the property was a bonus as we could pop out for essentials or simply enjoy a meal and wander back to the house without the need for a car. The island of Corsica is stunning, dramatic and unspoilt.
